Alterations: Louise Kegley

I 100% agree with the other knottie recommendations when it comes to Louise! She is fantastic and her prices are awesome! I am getting my dress altered there as well as all the BM dresses. From the first fitting to the second she had a ton done and the crazy part was that I had actually gained 5lbs from the 1st to the 2nd fitting and the way she had fit my dress made me look skinner the second time! I was amazed! She also worked with you like you are the only bride she has and is so easy to talk to. I had all these ideas of things I wanted to do and pieces to take a look at and never once did I feel rushed or that she wasnt listening to me. I am confident she will make my dress fit perfectly!

Boudoir Photographer: Cadence Cornelius

I did a marathon B-pics shoot with Cadence and LOVED every minute of it! She was a blast to work with, gave great direction, and made me feel confident and sexy. Since I did a marathon session with her too, the price was fantastic and included hotel, hair and makeup. I couldn't have asked for it to go better! It was so much fun!!!

Reception Cite: The Profile Event Center

So far, I have absolutely loved working with Heather! I booked this vendor first (over a year and half away from the wedding) and they have worked with me like my wedding was next month. I have email Heather many times, and she always gets back to me promptly. I have been there on numerous occasions to visit the location with different people and they have had no problem fitting me in every time even though my wedding was over a year away. They are also very accommodating and allow you to bring in your own alcohol which is a great money saver. I have no doubt they will continue to be one of my favorite vendors all the way up to our wedding.

Flowers: Westvig Florals

Sarah has been great to work with so far. She sat down with me and we spend a couple hours going through different flower options. She is also very inexpensive as she works out of her home.

Liquor: Bacchus Wine & Spirits

Steve is very knowledgeable when it comes to wine. They are providing beer, wine, and champagne at our wedding for a very reasonable price. I trust their skills to the point where I am planning on telling them what we will be serving and letting them choose what wines will go well with the meal.

Cake: Penny Steele Custom Cakes

They have the best cake I have ever eaten - seriously! My FI loves desserts so we knew we had to have a cake that tasted great. We were originally going to just do the dessert buffet that our reception cite offered, but after trying her cake we knew we had to have cake too :). I would highly recommend at least going for a tasting - it is amazing! They also do faux tiers which helps the cost out a lot.

Photography: Vetriano Wedding Photography

Sarah is very personable and easy to work with. So far, she has done our engagement photos and we were very pleased. She has a fast turn around and is providing us copyrights and a DVD of high res pictures, which was very important to my FI and I so we could do a lot with the pictures. She is very fast in her correspondence and we look forward to her shooting our wedding.

Wedding Cordinator: Lasting Impressions

We meet with Sarah at the very beginning of our planning process and immediate felt like we clicked. She is very friendly and easy to get along with. We hired her as our Day of Wedding Coordinator, but she has been a great resource for questions thus far. A great perk of hiring her is that we also get to use her rental items with no additional charge - which is coming in handy as then we were able to pick a florist without factoring in vase rental costs. I am so excited to have her there for the day of our wedding to ensure everything goes smoothly!

Linens: Prestige Linens and Events

We wanted to go with colored linens, so we are renting an eggplant satin table linen from Prestige Linens and Events. They are by far the best price I could find anywhere for a satin linen and I am very excited to see how they look on the tables.

Rentals: Midway Party Rental

We are renting a popcorn machine and the popcorn packets for it. They were the best price we could find in the twin cities.

Tavel: Bursch Travel - Disney Honeymoon

We are working with Krisha Friede who specializes in Disney vacations. She is going to help us plan out our entire itinerary as well as book great dinner reservations and help us to make the most our of our honeymoon.

Hotel Block: Radisson University Hotel - Minneapolis

We were able to talk them down to a group rate of $99/night for our guests. We will also be staying in the bridal suite there the night of our wedding. It is a half mile away from our reception site so it will be very convenient.

Hair and Makeup: Smart and Chic

We wanted on site hair and makeup and they provide this for a very reasonable price. They will do my hair and make up as well as the hair of my 7 BMs. They come very highly recommended from the other twin cities knotties.

Rings: Shane Co

They have been great to work with. I feel 100% confident we got the best quality for our money. I am very impress with their customer service and would go back to them for later jewelry purchases.

Dress (mine and BMs): The Wedding Shoppe

Contrary to what other people have said, I actually received great service from the Wedding Shoppe. I would recommend going in on a weekday if possible. Their Saturdays are supper busy so I could see how you may get overwhelmed, but both Saturdays I was there I was treated very well, but I knew exactly what I was looking for. I ended up buying the sample of my dress and they offered to do any of the fixes on it for free (the zipper needed replacement and the sash was a bit frayed on the underside). They fixed those things already and my wedding is just under a year away. However, I plan on getting my alterations done elsewhere as I know I can beat their alteration prices. Their Cash and Cary discount for the BMs dresses is going to help save money too.

Vista Print

I LOVE Vista Print! It is one of my favorite vendors. Sign up for the emails and watch for deals - I have spent around $60 total on their site and have gotten 3 sets of 200 Busniess Cards, 2 t-shirts, 2 large window applicays, a lawn sign, 100 post cards, 2 car magnets, personalized post-its, a pen with our pic on it, poster sized print of an e-photo, 2 sets of return address labels, and are planning on ordering our STD postcards and magents on there (will end up being around $30 total for 100 STDs). Love it!

Favors: The Knot.com

We ordered the glass photo coasters. We got them on sale and are splitting up the pairs so it ended up costing us about 75 cents per guest (including the business card insert we ordered from Vista Print). They look great and were very easy to assemble. I ordered them about 6 months before I actually put them together and found that one set got broken. I called their customer service and they mailed me a replacement free of charge even though I was way out of the 60 day satisfaction guarantee. Thanks the knot!
