Floral Bags

Picture
Since we are using the vases from my DOC for our CPs, she is taking those at the end of the night, but we still wanted to figure out a way to give away the flowers at the end of the night.

So we just stoped by a floral store and bought about 25 floral bags for $2 and are going to use those to put flowers in for people to take home at the end of the night!

Ring Pouches

Picture
Carrie on my club board got these ring pouches from Etsy seller bleuroo and once I saw hers I knew I wanted them. And as much as I love DIY projects, sewing in not my strength so I just decided to buy them! I contacted bleuroo and she custom made these for me with our names and eggplant purple stitching and I LOVE them! They turned out so nice and I think they will be the perfect way to protect the rings so they are not just floating around in a pocket somewhere. I think they will be safer this way and we can use them after the wedding!

Danielle and Joe Triva

Picture
In lieu of the clinking of the glasses, to get us to kiss our guests have to answer a triva question about us correctly. We will have this jar of little slips of paper with questions on them and guests can come up and take one (or more). Then once they know the answer they can read it outload and if they get it right we will kiss. Much better than hearing clinking glasses all night IMO and since I think a wedding should be all about the couple anyway our guests can learn some fun facts!

RB Pillow

Picture
I could have made this but decided I just didnt care enough to spend the time on it :) so I just ran to Michaels and bought one with a 50% off coupon. RB pillow done!

FG Gift

We have a little princess as a flower girl and she loves coming over to our place and playing the Pretty Pretty Princess game that I have from when I was a kid so this was a no brainer on what to get her but now she has the more modern one! Plus she love Cinderella and anything Disney so this worked out perfectly.

RB Gift

Picture
He was really hard to shop for as I had no idea what to get a 4 yr old little boy. Joe ended up calling his parents and I guess his brother was a RB at one time and got a bracelet with his name on it and loved it so that is what we decided to do for him to.

I ended up ordering one from Etsy seller SophiesCloset's. Here is a stock picture of the one we got but ours has his name on it.

GM Gifts

Picture
Yep they are Nurf Guns. I think the guys are going to LOVE these and there are 9 total (including ushers) so they will have a blast playing with them I am sure. Nothing like a group of grown men getting together to play huh :)

Popcorn!

Picture
I love popcorn! It is one of my fav foods. We wanted to do something inexpensive that we could have during the cocktail hour and even during the dance as a late night snack (we will prolly turn it off during dinner). We are purchasing packages of popcorn that go right in it and our DOC will be in charge of making sure it is full.

We are also going to make paper cones with our monogram on them for people to eat the popcorn out of - this was because Joe was worried it would feel too much like a carnival and I agreed that the red and white striped bags would not fit our motif. The cones are pictured in the DIY section.

Sand Ceremony

Picture
Both Joe and I want to do a sand ceremony. Instead a a basic vase, we are burning a candle and will use the glass it came with - that way we have a lid for it too. We are planning on using purple and green sand (our wedding colors. Joe will pour the purple as it is his fav color and green is my fav so I will pour that one. We have the main vase and the purple sand but are still on the hunt for something to pour the sand from and the green sand (I want a sage green color).

Bubbles

Picture
I want to exit the church in a sea of bubbles so we bought a bunch of bubbles for our guests. Half are in green and the other half are in purple.

Baskets

Picture
At this point I think we need a basket for the programs and bubbles as well as two for the bathrooms. Here is the basket I have purchase so far - there is another smaller basket of the same pattern inside that one...now I just need two more.

Linen

Picture
We are renting eggplant satin linen for the tables at the reception. I think this linen with the green votives, green and ivory flowers, and dangling crystals in the centerpieces will look gorgeous together.

Green Votives

Picture
We want lots of candle light so there will be tons of votives - my DOC has lots of clear ones we can use (she has over 200 of them) and we will add the green ones to those and spread them through the reception.
